I’ve submitted here before, but things are different now. On March 28th of this year, I got out the engagement ring I had been hiding for a month and asked that gorgeous girl with the blonde hair to marry me. We’d spent the day celebrating our four year anniversary, and it had been amazing. It might seem a little cliché to propose to someone on the anniversary of your relationship, but it seemed to fit us. It felt right.
We look young. Most people think we’re 15/16, but we’re not. I’m almost 23 and she’s almost 21. We’re still young, but we’re old enough and committed enough to know that we want to spend the rest of our lives together.
In a few years, this girl is going to be my wife, and that about makes me the luckiest girl in the world.
